Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of North Seventh Street at about 12:20 a.m., police said in a news release.
They found the woman suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to police. She was treated on scene by officers before being taken to a local hospital. The woman's name was not released.
Daily Voice reached out to the Allentown Police Department for more information. There was no response at press time.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
